Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Driver Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of Midwest Water Supply, handling the pickup and delivery of bulk water orders, communicating directly with clients, and troubleshooting technical issues on-site as they arise. This is a hands-on position that combines safe commercial driving with genuine customer service and practical problem-solving. Job Schedule: Due to the seasonal nature of our business, we're open to both part-time and full-time scheduling options for the right candidate!
Core Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver bulk water orders throughout the Greater Twin Cities Metro Area
- Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule, upholding our reputation for punctuality and reliability
- Communicate professionally with clients: confirming details, answering questions, and providing a positive customer experience
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues on-site as needed (equipment, hoses, pumps, fill logistics, water treatment)
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Class B CDL (minimum) with a clean driving record and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement (with company sponsorship provided)
- Ability to pass pre-hire and random drug test
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently, manage a delivery schedule, and adapt when timing or conditions change
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, and connecting/handling hoses and equipment in all weather conditions
- Experience in the pool, spa, or water delivery industry a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
License/Certification:
