Our caregivers will assist clients with:
- Transfers, ambulation, and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
- Personal care, bathing assistance, and general personal hygiene
- Toileting and incontinence-related duties
- Planning and preparing meals
- Providing medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping duties (keeping living area clean, doing laundry, etc.)
- Running errands and providing incidental transportation for the client
**We are especially looking for caregivers who are available for weekend day shifts; all applicants are welcome, but we have a need for weekend day shifts in particular**
Job requirements include:
- Caregiving experience working with the elderly and/or patients who have chronic or acute conditions
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly at an average adult level
- Ability to problem solve quickly with good decision-making skills
- Must provide a negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Must be registered in the state of CA as a Home Care Aide (we will assist with this process if needed)
