Responsibilities

- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math, physical education, and other core areas of childhood development instruction.
- Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and individualized learning plans aligned with mandated reporting laws.
- Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, including assessments related to standardized testing and ongoing child welfare monitoring.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to communicate children's development milestones and address any behavioral or learning concerns proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements while promoting a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development techniques, and early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques tailored for young children.
- Prior experience with literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education activities suitable for preschoolers.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons using diverse instructional methods such as tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and Montessori approaches.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant experience such as daycare or private school teaching is highly valued.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations governing childcare environments.
