We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Manager who can lead from the front by generating personal sales while developing and managing a high-performing sales team.
Position Overview
This is a working manager role designed for a proven sales professional who excels in door-to-door sales and enjoys building successful teams. The ideal candidate will actively generate new business opportunities while recruiting, training, coaching, and managing sales representatives.
This position offers a highly competitive compensation structure with significant earning potential through both personal sales production and team performance overrides.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of outside sales representatives.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new sales team members.
- Train and coach team members on prospecting, presentations, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Conduct ride-alongs, field coaching, and regular performance reviews.
- Establish sales goals and accountability measures to drive results.
Personal Sales Production
- Generate new business through door-to-door prospecting and relationship building.
- Conduct sales presentations and close new commercial cleaning contracts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
Team Development
- Create a positive, high-performance sales culture.
- Monitor sales activity and performance metrics.
- Support team members in achieving their goals and maximizing earnings.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and growth.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of successful door-to-door sales experience.
- Minimum 1 year of sales management experience, including:
- Recruiting sales representatives
- Training and onboarding team members
- Coaching and performance management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in commercial services, facility services, cleaning, or related industries preferred
