We are an accounting firm in Northern Dutchess County that has been locally owned and operated for over 40 years. We offer accounting and tax services, and we are looking for an Office Coordinator/Office Manager/Office Administrator to support our team. This position is full time and pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee office operations, including workflow and communication with Accounting Team
- Manage emails, phone calls, and mail
- Use Practice Management Software to correspond with clients, manage workflow, and upload tax returns and other deliverables to clients
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Assembling tax returns, prepping files for meetings
- Electronically filing tax returns
- Good with numbers, math aptitude
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable processing
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, as needed
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain office equipment and supply ordering
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook). Must be able to complete mail merges and use database
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Problem solving and basic troubleshooting skills are imperative

- Minimum of Associate’s Degree/Business Program/Related work experience
