Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finishing work on interior surfaces, ensuring that residential and commercial spaces meet precise standards of craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will contribute to transforming raw construction into polished, functional, and visually appealing environments. Responsibilities
- Apply finishing materials such as caulking, stucco, and trim to interior surfaces following construction plans and specifications
- Install drywall, mud, tape, and other interior finishings
- Install flooring, doors, small amounts of electric and plumbing
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, moldings, and other woodwork using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
- Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to interpret project requirements and ensure precise execution
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for rebar installation, masonry work, or framing as needed on-site
- Use woodworking machines and hand tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials
- Conduct restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or rebar installation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, or related construction roles with a focus on interior finishing
- Familiarity with construction estimating, interpreting technical drawings, and working from construction plans
- Hands-on experience with woodworking techniques using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines
- Knowledge of stud framing, fixture installation, cabinet mounting, and masonry is highly desirable
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or with heavy lifting tasks enhances your suitability for this role
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to power tools and construction site protocols
- Background in construction site experience including rebar installation, caulking, stucco application, and mold remediation is advantageous

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
