Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Full-Service Gas Station Attendant to provide exceptional customer service at our busy retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with fueling, handling transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the station. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Part-time : Fours days a week - 6 hour shifts.(24 hours a week)
- Weekend Hours
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, professional full-service service assistance to customers
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficently
- Assist customers with fueling their vehicles, washing windows and checking tire pressure
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell products such as beverages, ice and firewood to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming station environment
- Deliver friendly, respectful customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and cashier skills
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer engagement techniques
- Basic math skills necessary for math calculations and transaction processing
- Positive attitude, self motivated
- Ability to work independently and with a team
