Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival with friendly, professional communication
- Manage restaurant reservations using reservations
- Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
- Assist with guest inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
- Support food service staff by providing timely guest updates and managing guest relations effectively
- Taking and preparing take out orders
Requirements
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Toast POS
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing procedures
- Experience with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in food service environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow seamlessly

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
