Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our construction team, bringing expertise in various aspects of building and renovation projects. Duties
- Follow detailed blueprints and schematics
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation to ensure structural integrity
- Manage and execute masonry tasks, including stucco, siding, and plastering applications
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics for accurate execution
- Conduct framing, trim carpentry, roofing, and woodwork to meet project specifications
- Measure dimensions accurately using tools like tape measures and levels for precise craftsmanship
- Install metal stud framing and perform drywall or plastering work for interior finishes
- Handle heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks across different sites
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling, restoration, or siding projects to ensure quality outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of on site experience
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation with safety as a priority
- Expertise in rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, siding, and framing carpentry
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for precise construction work
- Experience with metal stud framing, trim carpentry, plastering, and stucco applications
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and working at heights on roofing or scaffolding
- Construction management experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site
- Valid certifications in construction safety or equipment operation are advantageous (must be OSHA certified).
- A valid Drivers license is required.
