Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and towing services to customers in need. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various towing situations safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance and towing services.
- Safely operate flatbed and other tow trucks to transport vehicles.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring minimal damage during the process.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed while on-site.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and concerns.
- Manage conflicts professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle condition reports.
- Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Drive responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, including operating manual transmission vehicles when required.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair or mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is highly valued.
- Familiarity with conflict management techniques is beneficial for handling various customer interactions.
- A valid commercial driving license is required, along with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.
