We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one in-home care for a paraplegic client from a spinal cord injury.
Schedule Requirements
- Shifts available: 9a-5p, 9a-2p
- Commitment to 3-5 shifts per week
- Immediate start
Responsibilities
- Wound care and ongoing wound management
- Administration and management of medications
- Management of the client’s bowel program
- 2-person transfer assist using a Hoyer lift
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in wound care and spinal cord injury care preferred
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience required; 5 years preferred
- Current unrestricted IL RN license
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull; perform CPR as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
