Job purpose
We are looking for master multi-tasker Payroll and Administrative Support applicant who will be working in a dynamic environment. This position requires critical thinking skills, excellent time management, and exceptional communication skills - coupled with a high level of technology aptitude and demonstrated operational efficiency.
This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, excellent customer service, advanced administrative and organizational skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and knowledge of both Human Resources and Payroll compliance.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Facilitate Employee Recognition & Celebration programs.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of facility.
- Daily mail runs and processing incoming mail with the oversight of the VP of HR to deliver mail to the appropriate team member and department.
- Delivery payroll, legal posters, signage, memos and notices as needed to facilities.
- Assist with mailing check payments, administrative documents, certified letters at the local Post Office as needed.
- Maintains supply inventory by checking office and kitchen stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies with the Procurement department.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and in person contact.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Filing all company related paperwork for Administration, AP, Payroll, and Human Resources.
Human Resource Support:
- Handle the administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and layoff paperwork of the Sun Grown seasonal team.
- Import new hire data to human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate Safety Training presentation for seasonal team with the Safety Coordinator.
- Assist with Corporate benefit open enrollment on both company and employee level.
- Assist with ACA reporting requirements, employee benefits administration and coordination.
- Assist with end of year projects.
- Ad Hoc projects and assignments as needed.
Payroll Support Backup:
- Process the complete cycle of bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities utilizing iSolved/Paragon payroll software.
- Review payroll reports, ensure accuracy of payroll and all weekly and bi-weekly adjustments.
- Reconcile payroll data, track PTO and overtime, and apply wage/tax deductions, garnishments, and levies accurately.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws and update policies and procedures when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage regulations.
- Modifying and maintaining accurate workflow processes in the payroll department.
- Research and reconcile payroll and benefits enrollment discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information.
- Assist with all HR and Payroll reporting needs.
- Ad Hoc projects & analysis as needed.

- Ensures accuracy in payroll reporting and reconciliation of reports,

- Prioritizes multiple deadlines and concerns within a tight deadline,
- Ability to speak clearly and professionally regarding payroll and benefits matters.
- Ability to professionally refer employment matters to the appropriate leader.
Competencies
- Associate’s degree required in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle payroll processing, human resources, and full range of administrative experience is required.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong math skills required
- Establishing payroll in new states
- Payroll certification is a plus
- HR certification is a plus
- Experience with iSolved, ADP, Paylocity, or UKG is a plus
