We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team at The Lodge at Mills River. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff while adhering to regulations.
Key Responsibilities of Housekeeper:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention in accordance with facility policies
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces regularly
- Remove trash and handle linen according to facility protocols
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Work cooperatively with nursing and administrative staff to support resident care
Qualifications & Skills of Housekeeper:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting a plus)
- Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and professional attitude
