D.P. Dough is a fast paced, exciting calzone establishment in the Collegetown section of Ithaca, NY and we're hiring Crew Members to start immediately! We are the latest delivery restaurant open in town, so be prepared for some late night shifts!
As a D.P. Dough Crew Member, you'll spend your time accurately and efficiently baking food products as well as preparing and portioning products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. Also perform other duties in the areas of food preparation including boxing of cooked items and preparing appropriate sides for all items. Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests in-person and over the phone
Duties and Responsibilities
Crew Members:
- Prepare a variety of calzones and side items for cooking in oven and other kitchen equipment.
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
- Refer to the Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
- Use our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products and weighing all ingredients according to D.P. Dough propitiatory recipes. Do not rely just on memory, always make consistent products.
- Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Portion food products according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station station area including tables, shelves, ovens, dough sheeter, and refrigeration equipment.
- Prepare items for baking by portioning, weighing, seasoning, sizing, and traying.
- Follow proper presentation and side set up for all dishes.
- Handle, store, and rotate all products property.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-periods as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Shift Leader.
- Answer questions from customers about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and accurately enter orders into our POS system.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare order tickets, accept payment, process credit charges, or make change as needed.
- Thank guests and invite them to return.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Manager and/or Shift Leader.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
