We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager – Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) to lead a team of designers and drafters supporting industrial engineering projects. This role combines technical design expertise with team leadership, resource planning, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize the work of drafting and design team members.
- Partner with Project Managers and Engineers to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Forecast workloads and allocate resources across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of electrical, instrumentation, and controls design experience.
- Develop and review electrical layouts, cable tray systems, 3D models, and design deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and safety practices.
- Review design packages for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Mentor designers and support continuous improvement initiatives, including CAD efficiency tools.
- 2+ years of supervisory or design team leadership experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
