Lawn & Ornamental Technician
This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
**BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST REQUIRED**
Minimum Qualifications:
* 1-3 year experience in landscape fertilization and spray pesticide applications or other manual landscaping duties.
* Valid Florida driver's license.
*High School diploma required. College experience prefered.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Applying fertilizer and/or weed control products to residential and commercial properties.
* Spray areas to control insects, fungus and weeds.
* Detailed inspection of all work for quality control.
* Comply with company, state, and federal safety procedures.
* Ability to speak with customers to explain application procedures and answer questions.
* Respond to service call backs.
* Report any issues or problems to regional manager.
* Complete internal reports as requested by manager.
* Attend and complete training and meetings as required.
* Perform other duties as required by management.
Physical Demands:
* Constant mobility including walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching and standing for long periods.
* Daily physical labor
* Lifting up to 75lbs
Environmental Factors:
* Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* May withstand extreme conditions such as heat or rain.
* Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt and insects.
