GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Workshop Facilitator is responsible for providing education services within the context of the Fatherhood Promotion Program. The Workshop Facilitator will conduct social-emotional parenting education and economic development for adult father participants within the community setting. A highly trained Workshop Facilitator will teach and deliver all workshop sessions. This position reports to the Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
The following requirements are desired for this position:
- Undergraduate degree in social or behavioral sciences

Two years successful experience delivering educational services to adults,
- Current valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle during work hours,

Outstanding organizational, verbal, and written communication skills,
-
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse community groups,
-
Proficient in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct social-emotional parenting education and economic development for adult father participants using the required curriculum,
-
Deliver educational sessions in community settings to the target population in person and virtually,
-
Conduct quality assurance self-monitoring plan as assigned by supervisor,
-
Compile monthly schedule of prevention activities,
-
Identify, recruit, & collaborate with community locations and organizations where the Fatherhood Promotion Program will be conducted,
- Attend community events and share program information with fathers and families to recruit potential participants and community partners,
-
Attend appropriate community resource meetings,
-
Attend appropriate training as they become available,
-
Assist in developing promotional strategies that will increase awareness of services within the community,
-
Successful completion of Fatherhood Promotion trainings, curriculum training, and varied economic development training,
-
Prepare literature and other materials for dissemination throughout prevention activities,
-
Assist program coordinator to identify staff training needs and develop appropriate training,
-
Perform other assigned duties in a timely and efficient matter,
-
Trained to prevent and respond to child maltreatment and have awareness of domestic violence indicators,
- Identify problems and take initiative to plan appropriate corrective action,
-
Maintain program implementation schedule and collaborate with other program staff and site partners to make and communicate changes when needed,
- Participate in program Continuous Quality Improvement activities,

Performs related duties as assigned in a timely and efficient manner

HOURS
Full-time, up to 40 hours per week. Business hours are 8 AM to 5PM. Night and weekend work will often be required. Remote Office Schedule includes remote/telecommuting from home and work as scheduled in the field.
