LPN Duties include but not limited to:
· Obtain and handle specimens, including specimens sent to referral labs
· Performs on-site lab tests accurately, including hemoglobin, pregnancy tests, blood glucose, fecal occult blood, urine dipstick, and others as instructed
· Support clinical providers and programmatic functions of the health department
· Provide Point-of-Care testing
· Venipuncture in the laboratory
· Provide immunizations
· Comprehensive orientation will be provided during the 1st year on the job
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently licensed as a practical nurse and experience equivalent to one year of licensed practical nursing.
