We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales floor activities, cashiering, stocking, and merchandising.
- Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Oversee recruiting efforts, conduct interviewing processes, and facilitate onboarding for new team members.
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost store visibility and customer engagement.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by coaching staff on phone etiquette, communication skills, and complaint resolution.
- Supervise shift management, cash handling procedures, POS systems operation, and store safety protocols.
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales management, retail sales performance, and organizational skills to meet business goals.
- Foster a team-oriented environment through leadership in supervising staff, managing schedules, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with a focus on store management or assistant manager roles.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams with strong leadership skills in sales management and customer service.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations.
- Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and recruiting strategies.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, budgeting processes, and administrative responsibilities within a retail setting.
