We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract opportunity at the Arizona State Veteran Home in Tucson, AZ. This role is ideal for nurses with strong geriatric, long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment serving Veterans.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered within RN scope of practice
Complete nursing assessments and assist with MDS care planning
Monitor residents’ medical, physical, and psychological conditions
Participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary communication
Supervise and support CNAs and licensed staff when acting as Charge RN
Assist residents with ADLs when necessary
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records
Participate in staff development and in-service training programs
Utilize Arizona Management System (AMS) concepts for process improvement and problem-solving
✔ Active RN License
✔ Weekend availability required
✔ CPR/BLS Certification
