Overview
Swift-Fix Repair Services is a fast growing handyman/construction business that has grown quickly to include home renovation projects (kitchen, bathrooms)
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of renovation tasks, including carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and masonry work.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Ability to properly assess timing needed for each individual project
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry, glass, and hardware with precision.
- Manage demolition, concrete forming, finishing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and restoration tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed and assist in construction management efforts.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times.
- Ability to coordinate and do service level work as well as larger unit turns, and other projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential construction with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, framing carpentry, roofing, concrete finishing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and other core trades.
- A smartphone and the ability to properly upload photos and pictures
- Experience operating power tools such as saws, drills, grinders; familiarity with hand tools essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Valid driver’s license, A car or work vehicle you are willing to use for work purposes.
Pay
Normal projects will pay between 27-30 dollars an hour
Certain government projects pay prevailing wage ($55-$75) dollars an hour.
