Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication networks. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in the field. As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable connectivity for our clients. Structured cabling experience is a must.
Duties
- Install and maintain telecommunication systems, including fiber optic and Ethernet networks.
- Conduct field service operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to complete network installations efficiently and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- if you have pictures of previous work that you have performed, please submit those if possible.
Experience
- Previous experience in network cabling.
- Must be able to safely operate a scissor lift
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must have industry, specific tools, punch down tool, snips, screwdrivers, drills etc.....
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
- A commitment to safety practices while working in the field is essential.
