What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the community, including leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and maintenance coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and contractors
- Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, notices, and resident communications using AppFolio
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure curb appeal, safety, and community standards are maintained
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow through to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction
- Support marketing and leasing initiatives to maintain strong occupancy levels
- Maintain accurate resident files, reports, and property records
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC requirements, Section 8 guidelines, and company policies
- Resolve resident concerns professionally while fostering a positive community environment
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, resident retention, and overall property performance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✔ Hands-on property management experience (required)
✔ Knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 housing programs (required)
✔ Solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
✔ Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
✔ A people-first mindset with excellent customer service instincts
✔ Comfortable with data entry, filing, and professional phone communication
✔ Self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
