The Role
We're hiring an experienced Manure Drag Line Operator for our South Central Florida operations. You'll apply nutrient-rich material to hay fields after baling — turning what's often treated as waste into real soil-building results. This is hands-on, full-time, year-round work operating Fendt tractors while pulling drag hose, both hard hose and soft hose.
This isn't just tractor driving. We need someone who understands the whole system — pump units, pressures, flow rates — and is mechanically inclined enough to troubleshoot and repair equipment when something goes wrong, not just run it until it doesn't.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating Fendt tractors while pulling hard-hose and soft-hose manure drag lines
- Setting up fields, laying out hose, and planning application routes ahead of time
- Monitoring and managing pump units, pressures, flow rates, and overall system performance
- Troubleshooting and repairing drag-line equipment and related machinery
- Applying material to hay fields after baling as part of our crop production program
- Supporting field operations with a working knowledge of hay production — mowing, baling, wrapping, and fermented hay/haylage
- Assisting with or operating other farm equipment as needed
What You Bring
Required:
- Proven experience operating Fendt tractors
- Experience pulling manure drag hose (hard hose and soft hose)
- Mechanically inclined — strong aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Solid understanding of pump units, pressures, flow rates, and drag-line system operations
- Working knowledge of crop production, especially hay crops
- Familiarity with hay equipment and processes: mowing, baling, wrapping, and fermented hay/haylage
- Ability to work full-time, year-round in South Central Florida field conditions
Preferred (Not Required):
- CDL license
- Experience with excavators, semi-trucks, tillage equipment, planting equipment, and general farm machinery
- Familiarity with regenerative or soil-building nutrient application practices
