Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled End-Dump Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks designed for hauling materials across construction sites and related projects. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to support ongoing construction operations. Duties
- Safely operate end-dump trucks to transport construction materials across various sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on dump trucks, checking mechanical components, brakes, lights, and fluid levels to ensure optimal operation
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to plan routes and delivery schedules efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using auxiliary equipment such as loaders, excavators, or backhoes when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on trucks, including basic repairs or notifying maintenance teams of issues requiring professional service
- Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Proven experience operating commercial dump trucks in a construction or similar environment
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards is highly desirable
- Prior experience with Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus
- Ability to operate additional machinery such as horizontal drills or paving equipment is advantageous
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations related to commercial driving and heavy vehicle operation
- Demonstrated ability to work in physically demanding environments with attention to detail and safety consciousness
Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,300.00 per week
