ALULA is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team and serve as a key technical resource across our organization. In this role, you'll help manage the technology infrastructure that supports our manufacturing operations, offices, programs, and services.
You'll work closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), technology vendors, business application owners, and internal leadership to keep systems reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of the organization.

You'll help ensure ALULA's technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and ready to support our employees and operations.
Your responsibilities will include:

Administering and maintaining servers, networks, cloud services, and enterprise technology systems.

Partnering with our MSP to maintain system availability, performance, and security.

Serving as a key internal point of contact for IT infrastructure and escalated technical issues.

Helping leadership understand technology needs, risks, priorities, and opportunities.
-
Providing technical input that helps shape IT strategy and future technology investments.
-
Monitoring IT service performance and using data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
-
Overseeing backup and disaster recovery processes and helping ensure recovery capabilities are tested and reliable.
-
Serving as the primary internal liaison with our MSP for helpdesk and technical support services.

Monitoring MSP service levels and helping ensure response and resolution expectations are met.
-
Reviewing ticket volume, resolution rates, customer satisfaction, and other IT service metrics.
-
Providing hands-on support for escalated hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues when needed.

Helping develop and monitor employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
-
Supporting employee training related to IT tools, policies, and cybersecurity awareness.
You'll also work closely with business application owners, software vendors, and our IT Software & ERP Manager to help keep critical applications running smoothly.
This may include:

Coordinating application-related issues with vendors, application owners, and internal IT team members.

Supporting user access and provisioning for business applications.
-
Assisting with application upgrades, patching, maintenance, backups, and recovery testing.
-
Helping troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues affecting ERP, reporting, databases, integrations, and other business applications.
-
Providing backup operational support for critical business applications when needed.
-
Maintaining documentation, support procedures, and escalation information for business-critical systems.
-
Serving as a cross-trained backup for the Sage ERP environment, SQL databases, and business reporting when needed.
Keeping our systems secure is a major part of this role.
You'll:

Partner with our third-party security/MDR provider and MSP on cybersecurity monitoring, alerts, and incident response.

Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and industry requirements.

Support cybersecurity best practices across the organization.

Participate in audits, risk assessments, and security improvement initiatives.
-
Help identify and address technology risks before they become bigger problems.
-
Protect confidential employee, organizational, customer, and client information.

You'll help take projects from planning through implementation while keeping documentation and stakeholders up to date.
This role also provides an opportunity to mentor and develop other members of the IT team.
You'll supervise and support the IT Support Technician and provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for junior IT staff.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

3–5 years of systems administration experience.

Experience mentoring or guiding junior IT staff is a plus.
-
Experience supporting a manufacturing or production environment is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
-
Experience with networking and common networking protocols.
-
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
-
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST.

General understanding of ERP systems, databases, reporting platforms, and business application integrations.

Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, for scheduled maintenance windows or urgent technology issues.

Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform hands-on equipment service.
