Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately stocked. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
- Accurately stock products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Able to perform tasks accurately
- Must be detail-oriented
- Able to stay organized, on task, and work independently
- Able to use scanners and navigate assigned functions
- Check merchandise & inventory, inspect for damage, verify counts and load into bins and shelves
- Must be able to utilize pallet jacks as needed; complete appropriate pre-trip/post-trip inspection and maintenance paperwork
- Meet and maintain accuracy of production goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and workforce both individually and as part of a team
- Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Perform all other duties and/or work in other departments of work location as assigned
- Maintain an organized packing area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate packing operations.
- Assist with inventory control by tracking packed items and reporting discrepancies.
- Handle heavy lifting of products as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the packing area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors is essential.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor is required for this role.
