Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Geotechnical Engineer at our office in Moon Township, PA. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
+ Projects, including bridges, roadways, retaining walls, slopes, embankments, buildings, and ground improvements.
+ Subsurface planning and investigation, interpretation of soil and rock logging, and plan required laboratory testing.
+ Analyzing data, performing calculations and design, and authoring geotechnical reports, specifications, and construction drawings for private and public projects.
+ Geotechnical analysis design software.
Requirements for Education, Experience Level, and Professional License:
+ BS degree or higher in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
+ 5-8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
+ Pennsylvania EI/EIT Accreditation with the goal of receiving a PE license.
+ Requirements for Other Skills:
+ Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe or Foxit Phantom PDF, and the Internet.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to adjust priorities.
+ Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.
+ Ability to manage or assist with management of geotechnical engineering projects.
+ Experience and interest in mentoring junior professionals.
