HR Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at facility level. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and Corporate Human Resources. This position serves as a resource for managers and associates for several items, including but not limited to understanding policy, payroll, benefits-related problems and ensures positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain that policies are followed in regard to federal and state regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Oversee health and welfare plans at facility, including notifying corporate and benefit TPA of enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
· Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and notifies Corporate of and actions needed.
· Assists with processing of terminations.
· Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
· Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates and respond with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
· Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
· Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
· Files documents into appropriate employee files.
· Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
· Prepares new-employee files.
· Processes mail.
· Utilizes experience in and knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to facility leadership.
· Disseminate policies and procedures to maintain HR transparency and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
· Partner with associates and leaders to communicate various HR policies, procedures and processes, benefit plans or changes that occur
· Help counsel associates as needed using progressive discipline
· Create and post position opportunities based on department/facility needs
· Coordinate recruitment efforts for managers, schedule interviews, accept and review resumes and applications, interview and assist with final decision process
· Conducts duties and maintains confidentiality at all times
· Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
· At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
