Joe Mineo Creative is a nationally recognized and award-winning event design company. With every corporate event, wedding, and private party we create, plan, or manage, our team provides clients with a unique design, exceptional service, and a sophisticated presentation.
We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated team player that takes initiative and has pride in their work. In this role, the candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of events -prepping, building, installing, and striking décor elements both in our warehouse and on-site. This is a full-time, year-round position offering a fast-paced, creative, and highly collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, pack, and unpack event décor, furniture, props, and floral products for delivery and setup.
- Prepare, assemble, install, and uninstall event structures such as backdrops, arches, furniture, draping, and other décor elements.
- Use hand and power tools safely to construct or assemble event components both in-house and on-site.
- Support the on-site team during installs and tear-downs, assisting with problem-solving and quick adjustments as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in prep spaces and venues—ensuring items are handled with care and returned to proper storage.
- Follow all safety protocols and handle delicate materials such as glass, floral, and fabric with precision.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with basic construction or set building; confidence using power and hand tools.
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills, communication, and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible schedule - must be available evenings, weekends, and some travel.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
