Job Description
GST Manufacturing is seeking a Fiber Laser Operator for its GST Janada Division. The operator is responsible for the cutting of product on laser cutting machines, producing parts at an acceptable pace, verifying proper materials are used for customers parts, verifying parts are correct to customer and GST prints.
Responsibilities
- Producing parts using laser cutting machines for GST Janada
- Works with production supervisors to properly produce parts for fabrication and shipping.
- Ensure that all products are cut to GST quality standard and paperwork is processed correctly.
- Must be able to read blueprints and shop drawings
Basic Qualifications
- Three (3) years prior experience in laser cutting with fiber optic/ CO2 lasers
- Blueprint and shop drawing experience
- Knowledge of fabrication practices
- Knowledge of steel, stainless and aluminum materials
- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as a team
- Work weekends and overtime as required
2ND SHIFT HOURS 3:30pm - 1:00AM
Compensation and Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience.
