Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate curriculum activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers.
- Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
- Monitor and support individual developmental needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior, and milestones to inform ongoing assessments and parent communication.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among young children.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom atmosphere that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in classroom or daycare settings, with specific expertise in toddler care.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a classroom effectively while managing behavior and fostering positive relationships with children and families.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers effectively.
- Ability to implement curriculum plans creatively while adhering to licensing standards and safety protocols.
- Passion for nurturing young children's growth through caregiving, teaching, babysitting experience, nannying, or related roles is preferred.
