JOB SUMMARY
The Behavioral Health Business Manager, under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Operations Officer, will assist with business services duties within the Behavioral Health division. The Behavioral Health Business Manager will ensure business tasks are managed effectively and efficiently. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices. The Behavioral Health Business Manager must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize duties and deadlines.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a knowledge of computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills required
- Experience working with health insurance providers preferred
- Knowledge of Behavioral Health Services preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must demonstrate behavior that is consistent with Optimae LifeServices’ Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
- Provides support to Behavioral Health Department and Business Services’ Departments regarding Behavioral Health business duties.
- Works with program leadership and business services to develop monitoring systems that report on key program business metrics.
- Supports program initiatives and standards set by Optimae LifeServices,
- Facilitates coordination and compliance with company policies and procedures and other regulatory entities.
- Assists with accounts receivable (AR) management in conjunction with the Revenue Cycle and Finance Departments by assisting with special payer projects, customer statement management and contract billing.
- Maintains understanding of credentialing and eligibility processes and monitors to improve processes and reduce risk.
- Assists with Electronic Health Record (EHR) testing, tool and process development and basic program support.
- Coordinates marketing efforts in partnership with Marketing and Public Relations.
- Provides support in onboarding and offboarding of professional and administrative employees.
- Participates as a key member of the Regional Office Manager Team, Regional EHR Collaboration Team and other teams as needed.
- Works with providers and finance department to manage and track crisis pay.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
