The CDL Truck Driver – Feed, Grain & Ingredients is responsible for safely transporting feed, grain, ingredients, and other agricultural products between company facilities and customer locations. Drivers ensure products are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company safety standards, and delivery procedures.

- Safely transport feed, grain, ingredients, and other agricultural products to designated locations.

Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Safely unload products at company farms, feed mills, and customer locations.

Maintain accurate electronic driver logs and required DOT documentation.

Utilize tablets or other electronic devices to complete delivery documentation.

Verify load accuracy and delivery information.

Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, vendors, and fellow employees.

Promptly report accidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

Maintain clean and well-kept equipment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Current DOT Medical Certificate

Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience

Livestock hauling experience preferred, but not required

Acceptable driving record and criminal background

No DUI/DWI convictions within the past five (5) years

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Dependable, self-motivated, and safety focused

Commitment to animal welfare and biosecurity practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certificate

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally

Ability to safely unload feed, grain, and agricultural products

Ability to climb ladders, trailers, and equipment as needed
-
Ability to install and remove tire chains during winter weather conditions, when necessary
-
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle

Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, climb, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require

Ability to pass pre-employment, post-accident, random, and other DOT-required drug and alcohol testing
