24-Hour Emergency & Referral Veterinary Hospital

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our 24-hour emergency and referral veterinary hospital. This position plays an important role in ensuring our doctors, technicians, and support teams have the medications, medical supplies, equipment, and other products they need to provide exceptional patient care around the clock.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor inventory levels and identify ordering needs
- Research and source veterinary medical supplies, equipment, products, and services
- Place purchase orders and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Compare products, pricing, availability, and quality to identify the best purchasing options
- Maintain accurate inventory records and help improve inventory control processes
- Track orders, shipments, backorders, and product availability
- Work closely with hospital leadership and clinical teams to understand supply needs
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing efficiency
- Help maintain appropriate stock levels for routine and emergency patient-care needs
- Research new products and alternative suppliers when needed
- Assist with organization and maintenance of inventory storage areas
- Address supply issues quickly in a fast-paced, 24-hour hospital environment

- Strong research and problem-solving abilities
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Strong communication and vendor-management skills
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- A strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger hospital team
- Previous inventory, purchasing, supply-chain, veterinary, medical, or healthcare experience is a plus

The successful candidate must have experience as a Veterinary Assistant and/ or as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
This position will also work on floor shifts that include weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
