We are seeking dependable and hardworking Manufacturing Laborers / Machine Operators to support production operations for manufacturing companies in Bedford County, PA. This position is ideal for candidates who have previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, construction, machine operation, CNC, fabrication, stone, plastics, composites, tire service, or industrial environment.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable performing physical labor, able to read a tape measure, and willing to learn different machines, tools, and production processes. Candidates must be reliable, safety-minded, and able to work various shifts based on company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate or assist with the operation of production machines, CNC equipment, saws, presses, grinders, drills, fabrication tools, or other industrial machinery
- Load and unload materials, parts, products, or raw goods onto machines, tables, racks, carts, or workstations
- Measure, cut, trim, grind, polish, assemble, or finish products according to job specifications
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Follow basic work orders, job instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
- Inspect parts or finished products for quality, defects, proper measurements, or visual appearance
- Perform repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other shop equipment as needed
- Lift, move, stack, or stage materials throughout the production area
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, quality concerns, or safety hazards to a supervisor
- Follow all company policies, PPE requirements, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, CNC, warehouse, construction, fabrication, automotive, stone, plastics, composites, or industrial experience preferred
- Experience operating CNC machines or other production equipment is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure high preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn new equipment and processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to work overtime or various shifts as needed
- Safety-focused mindset and willingness to follow PPE requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
