FAMILY COORDINATOR
FMRS Health Systems, Inc. located in Beckley, WV has a position for a Family Coordinator. The Family Coordinator will provide family engagement and linkages to services and community supports for family members and caregivers of the youth and young adults involved in in treatment and mental health services at the Regional Youth Service Center. Special emphasis will be placed on engaging fathers in the treatment process. The Family Coordinator will provide parenting groups, and family support for clients between the ages of 12-25 that have been referred and need additional resources.
This position will reflect a System of Care that is comprehensive, family-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based, coordinated, integrated, and includes early intervention and recovery support services to meet the complex needs of the focus population. Networking with other community partners and groups that support similarly situated families will be an essential part of this service.
They will provide SMART Recovery Family and Friends groups, Nurturing Parents groups, Circle of Parents and Parent Peer Support. We are looking for BA level in a human service related field, with lived experience as a parent preferred. If you have a BA and have lived experience, come join our team. Come make a difference !
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service-related field required; lived experience as a parent preferred
- Possess a valid WV driver’s license in good standing and access to a vehicle
- Applicant must be able to clear all background checks.
- Must be able to complete all required trainings in specified timeframe including CPR and Right Response.
