Position Purpose
IPM is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pantry Driver to support our FoodLink program and pantry operations. This up to 30-hour-per-week position is primarily responsible for managing FoodLink deliveries throughout Adams, Brown, and Highland Counties, as well as making routine pickups and deliveries to partner agencies throughout the Cincinnati area.
The Pantry Driver loads and unloads vehicles, delivers food boxes and program materials, operates lift gate equipment, maintains delivery records, and fosters positive relationships with community partners. This position also assists with general pantry and warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
FoodLink Deliveries
- Deliver FoodLink boxes to community partners throughout Adams, Brown, and Highland Counties.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate lift gates and other approved warehouse equipment.
- Communicate with partner agencies regarding deliveries and program needs. Troubleshoot delivery and program challenges in collaboration with project staff.
- Distribute program materials and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Assist with data collection and reporting needs.
- Operate agency vehicles safely and report maintenance concerns promptly. Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles, including routine sweeping and upkeep.
Pantry Operations
- Assist with general pantry and warehouse operations.
- Support volunteers during pantry activities and special projects.
- Provide coverage for staff vacations and absences as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of one year of experience in logistics, box truck driving, customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience and confidence driving large vans and box trucks.
- Master of pallet jacks, pallet lift and lift gates
- Experience with driving in rural areas.
- Ability to independently manage delivery schedules, keep logs, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Dependable, punctual, and highly organized.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to load and unload vehicles safely.
- Willingness to work outdoors and drive in varying weather conditions.
- Occasional evening or Saturday hours may be required for special events.
- Physically capable of using warehouse equipment, including motorized pallet jacks and lift gates.
