What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Great Dane Pub recipes and standards.
- Execute each dish with consistency, speed, and attention to detail.
- Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets our quality and presentation standards.
- Assist with daily prep, stocking, and maintaining inventory throughout your shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Keep your station organized, stocked, and service-ready at all times.
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Help maintain the positive, professional kitchen culture we're building every day.
What We're Looking For
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques.
- Dependable, punctual, and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Pride in producing consistently great food.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused during busy services.
- Strong work ethic and a team-first mindset.
