Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide one on one training to new hires following the onboarding guidelines and checklists.
- Assess and certify candidates on equipment and selection techniques.
- Instruct new hires on how to select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately
- Teach new hires how to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist Safety Specialist in implementation of monthly tips and recertify employees after incidents on equipment.
- Monitor aisles and provide feedback/coaching to all employees on techniques.
- Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
- Provide support to production as needed or when training schedules decrease.
Pay: $20.70 - $38.30 per hour
