Job Summary:
The Data Processing Analyst I supports the integrity, accuracy, and flow of data across multiple business systems. This role works closely with project teams and stakeholders to validate data, support system-related projects, and assist with data migration and business process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, analytical by nature, and comfortable working with large datasets and interconnected business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management and maintenance of internal data systems
- Review and validate data entries across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
- Analyze business requirements and assist in defining technical requirements based on operational needs
- Support data manipulation, migration, cleansing, and merging of large and complex datasets
- Work with Project Managers and stakeholders to provide project estimates and delivery timelines
- Assist in defining project scope, schedules, and system requirements
- Create and maintain technical and business documentation to support project execution
- Evaluate, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into system specifications
- Support system configuration and testing activities as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes
- Assist with process improvement initiatives related to data management and system performance
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of systems, databases, and how data relationships impact business processes
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience with data migration, system implementation, or business process analysis
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or database systems
