American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a short-term acute care facility in Oregon, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.

Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level IV Trauma Center with 60 staff beds
-
Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required and expected
-
Standby call required
-
Charting via Epic (required, not preferred)
-
No block schedules
-
Parking is available at no cost

Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry

Telemetry training and Med/Surg experience both required
-
Epic EMR proficiency is required — this is a hard stop

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Scrubs may be any color

First-time travelers are discouraged from applying for this position

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Former permanent employees must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates with previous Providence facility work history (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose location(s) and dates worked

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
