Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in a human service field.
Must have either an Illinois Certification (ICB) or be able to obtain certification within two years of hire. Other licensures relevant to the position will be considered.

Job Duties:

Assume case management/therapist responsibilities for a caseload of clients with alcohol and drug related problems.
Provide follow-up services to clients discharged from treatment facilities.
Conduct substance use disorder groups.
Maintain complete documentation in client records as required by Illinois Administrative rules.

Salary:

Bachelor $41,000 or Master $48,000.
