Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Shift Shipping Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes during the overnight hours, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, forklift operation, and order picking will be vital to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Prepare and process outbound shipments, verifying orders with RF scanners and warehouse management system (WMS) data.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Pick, pack, and organize products for shipment according to order specifications, utilizing order pickers and RF scanners.
- Ensure accurate stock levels by stocking shelves and managing inventory through warehouse distribution systems like AS400 or MRP.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols during all loading and unloading activities.
- Assist with shipping & receiving documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipment tracking updates.
- Support warehouse operations by participating in cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or MRP systems preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Experience with order fulfillment techniques such as picking & packing, order picking, and packaging.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in shipping operations.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy loads, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
