About the Role:
As an HR Generalist at Cascade Die Casting Group, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions within our organization. Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively implement HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Ensure a positive candidate experience, timely processing of documents, and seamless integration of new employees. Additionally, manage the off-boarding process to ensure smooth transitions for departing associates.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support benefit enrollments, administer employee benefit programs, and ensure accurate payroll and timekeeping. Administer and manage compliance with ADA, FMLA, STD and other relevant regulations.
- Health & Safety: Promote safety rules and PPE requirements, partner with management to create a safety culture, and act as an active safety committee member.
- Employee Relations: Create and maintain a positive work environment by ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing support in areas such as conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and performance improvement counseling. Offer guidance and advice to management on these matters to promote a harmonious and productive workplace.
- Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement by ensuring clear communication, managing change, offering training and development resources, and organizing activities and events.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate records, conduct routine floor walks, design and distribute employee communications, and participate in HR projects and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Knowledge of employment laws, excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and follow through, proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office applications (Paycom experience preferred), and HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Core Competencies: Adaptability, effective communication, dependability, quality of work, results-driven, and team orientation.
Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to sit at a computer for prolonged periods, occasionally walk and stand for prolonged periods, lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and work in a loud manufacturing environment. Proficiency in manual dexterity, effective communication skills, clear vision, and the ability to detect and respond to safety instructions and alarms. Wear personal protective equipment as required on the plant floor.
Pay Range and Benefits:
Hiring Range: $50,486 - $75,093
Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
