Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled New Construction Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in new construction projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, local building codes, and project specifications.
Duties
- Install plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, waste systems, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics.
- Conduct plumbing system inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment on-site while adhering to safety protocols; utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe fittings or structural support.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial or residential plumbing projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, pipe threading, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge related to water systems.
- Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards; ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Knowledge of local building codes relevant to plumbing installations; ability to ensure compliance throughout all phases of construction.
