Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a polished appearance
- Assist with laundry duties including sorting, folding, and replenishing linens as needed
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards by adhering to cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation efficiently
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleans
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services—hotel experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Previous housekeeper management experience is a plus but not required
