Duties
- Perform residential and commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Conduct detailed floor care such as carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing to restore surfaces to their best condition
- Handle laundry services for clients requiring linen or clothing cleaning with care and efficiency
- Maintain sanitation protocols by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing specific cleaning requests or concerns
- Utilize janitorial and custodial equipment effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly after each use
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory checks of cleaning supplies and reporting supply needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience for clients requiring kitchen sanitation or meal prep assistance
