Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled B-level auto mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Conduct engine repairs and maintenance on both gasoline and diesel engines, including powertrain components and complex engine systems.
- Perform vehicle inspections, and safety checks to ensure proper operation of all vehicle systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to complete mechanical repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering maintenance recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred.
- Valid driver's license a must
- Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize automotive diagnostic tools effectively.
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel balancing, and general mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive repair standards for variety of makes/models of vehicles
- Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent manual handling skills for working with various hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex vehicle issues.
