Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with autism and other developmental disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for these individuals and their families through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist in developing care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient care with empathy, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding client progress and any concerns.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong understanding of data collection methods related to behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
